My saturday :)

There's something satisfying abt saturdays.I really love the peacefulness and quietness. The world needs more peace like this. Until an idiot[my roommate] switched on the television for which he kept the volume too high (in such an way that ppl in the next flat can hear the programme) ! Idiot [ does not knew abt taste of early morning sleep ] . I woke up today [ saturday ] and wondered what should I do. *Sigh* My Saturdays are very routine. Wake up, eat, play some games, watch TV and then do the usual house chores. Yes, I'm domestically trained! :)
I decided to watch a movie instead and ended up watching a program in Jaya TV ;).
After that, it was back to washing clothes & cleaning. Then blogged something in PUZZLE
Hahah...hmmmm..that's about it for my "eventful" Sunday

Configure Concurrent Reports to be run

In BI Publisher Standalone, How many concurrent reports can be run ? By default, it is set to 3. in-order to change it to 'N'. following change is required. 1. Go to Admin/Scheduler/quartz-config.properties 2. identify the line org.quartz.threadPool.threadCount=N 3. Change this to N, in order to concurrent no of reports to be run at a time.

Limit rows per page

Solution to have fixed number of rows in each page. This solution is not a perfect solution considering the line size increases due to text in each line. But this solution gives you how to fix no of rows per page. In the forum Heated discussion Users are arguing for having a placeholder in same fixed place on all pages, irrespective of no of lines , increased line size due to word-wrap. Here i am not going to discuss anything related to that. But a simple logic of , how to fix number of rows. Step 1: Loop through the records and display them Step 2: Have a condition for MOD of position(), then insert a page-break on the result of Zero Step 3. Blank row has to be filled, a condition has to be added, to find how many blank rows ROWLIMIT - (count of row mod ROWLIMIT) will gives us the rows to be filled. Step 4: use foreach_number function to simulate the iteration. Refer the images below
