Chandamama -- Is Back :)

Chandamama was/(is) a monthly magazine , which i njoyed longtime ago.
Its good to see its back with a bang, Kudoos to the management people who are working very actively to take that to next lvl to Web. It was a wonderful monthly magazine, which gave lot of tit-bits . To mention few especially everybody know Mr.Tenali , the way it got narrated was amazing .

I guess lot of good and great publications got smashed to this web/commercial world,
iam not able to re-collect them, i think there were some bi-weekly magazine which used to give scientific facts , inventions, etc.. in kiddo language.
May be the management who were handling went out of idea's to improve them or were not able to make it due to financial crisis{i am sure in the world there are so many venture drives who can pump-in money easily for these kind of projects}.
Anyhow i assume they were not lost due to money management only:).
I guess mainly due the policy followed by handing them over to their family members from the founders, their kith-kin who were not really interested in taking that to next level, without that fire and proper direction got washed in the ocean.

And i think there are many ventures , who are ready to fund these kind of lost magazines which are very good,if it gets struck in the hands of people who are really good, these projects are going to make in history.
And finally it is back and its going to provide the children's of new age with stories from history and Indian mythology , and i am sure its going to be a mega success again.

Limit rows per page

Solution to have fixed number of rows in each page. This solution is not a perfect solution considering the line size increases due to text in each line. But this solution gives you how to fix no of rows per page. In the forum Heated discussion Users are arguing for having a placeholder in same fixed place on all pages, irrespective of no of lines , increased line size due to word-wrap. Here i am not going to discuss anything related to that. But a simple logic of , how to fix number of rows. Step 1: Loop through the records and display them Step 2: Have a condition for MOD of position(), then insert a page-break on the result of Zero Step 3. Blank row has to be filled, a condition has to be added, to find how many blank rows ROWLIMIT - (count of row mod ROWLIMIT) will gives us the rows to be filled. Step 4: use foreach_number function to simulate the iteration. Refer the images below

Configure Concurrent Reports to be run

In BI Publisher Standalone, How many concurrent reports can be run ? By default, it is set to 3. in-order to change it to 'N'. following change is required. 1. Go to Admin/Scheduler/quartz-config.properties 2. identify the line org.quartz.threadPool.threadCount=N 3. Change this to N, in order to concurrent no of reports to be run at a time.
